A disoriented Texas woman who had her wisdom teeth removed thought she had also lost her tongue.

In the funny clip posted on Twitter on January 28, Landree is sat in the car in a parking lot in Austin just after surgery and explaining to her boyfriend Saul that she had her tongue removed.

“She took my tongue," Landree sobs.

"You still have your tongue," Saul tries to reassure her. "You ready to go eat?" he adds.

"She said no eating!" replies a distraught Landree, trying to feel for her tongue with her fingers.

"I don’t have a tongue!”

Saul then gently teases Landree about all the favourite food she won't be able to eat.

"No more Hot Cheetos. No more corn nuts," he says.

"No more corn nuts?" asks a distraught Landree, now looking at Saul.

She then feels for her tongue once more.

"What happened to my tongue?" she asks.

"It's still there," Saul once again tries to reassure her.

"No, it's not!" Landree insists.

Happily once the painkillers wore off Landree was able to relocate her tongue, which had never in fact gone missing.

She is now looking forward very much to a bag of corn nuts.

The clip was posted to Twitter by Saul's brother-in-law, Spencer. According to him, Landree has seen the video and finds it "hilarious."
