A kindhearted motorcyclist was riding home when she saw a stray puppy following her, which she picked up and took home in her basket.

Arissara Ruethiduan was travelling along the dusty country road back to her farm when the pooch started chasing after her on February 24 afternoon in Sakon Nakhon, north eastern Thailand. Arissara is heard in the video saying ''I don't know why you're following me. You are so cute. How can someone abandon you like this?"

With only jungle nearby and no homes, Arissara decided to take the puppy home. She asks the puppy with a sweet voice before putting it in the basket: "Do you want to be my pet? Will you go home with me?"

Arissara said she has named the puppy 'Lhong', which means lost. She added: ''I'm sure the puppy was a stray so I'll look after him.''
