Amazing footage of frozen surf on the New York coast during brutal Polar Vortex
This video was taken by photographer Mike Busch during a brutal cold streak in north America with single digit temperatures for several days straight allowing the surf zone in the Atlantic Ocean to freeze. As Mike says "This is very rare and something I have never seen before or since." The temperature was just 6 degrees Fahrenheit with winds gusting to 30 mph. All part of the effect of a winter Polar Vortex in North America
