Corona virus is rife, Friday prayers in the mosque are very quiet
Although there has been an appeal from the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) related to the ban on Friday prayers in the mosque to avoid the spread of Covid-19, but that does not apply in West Sumatra. In the Great Mosque of West Sumatra, the implementation of Friday prayers is still ongoing. But not as usual, Friday prayers are not as busy as the corona virus is not worrying. Even the West Sumatra Grand Mosque sprayed hand sanitizers to worshipers before Friday prayers began.
