This is the heartwarming moment a pair of talented musicians treated senior citizens in southwest England to a special performance outside their retirement complex amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Professional musicians Robin Bigwood and Annabel Knight gave an impromptu performance at the retirement complex in Wotton-under-Edge, Gloucestershire, where Robin's parents live. Their aim was to lift residents’ spirits after many have been self-isolating for more than a week, with many listening through open windows.

The concert, given with the centre manager’s full support, featured a number of well-known tunes including Simon & Garfunkel’s pop classic “Bridge Over Troubled Water” on Wednesday.
