LA woman gets entire building of quarantined neighbours to sing Happy Birthday for her fiance in epic surprise
Hannah Chung didn't let coronavirus lockdown stop her from finding an adorable way to celebrate her fiance Jason Shields 30th birthday.
The viral TikTok shows dozens of quarantined neighbours in an LA apartment block singing Happy Birthday in perfect unison for this unforgettable surprise.
Hannah said, "We've been together for 5 years now! We recently got engaged in December and we were actually planning to get married this weekend and throw a wedding celebration party, but we unfortunately had to cancel everything because of the quarantine... a lot of our friends had to cancel their flights to see us, and we are super bummed about it.
"So for now, our marriage is on hold. We recently moved to downtown LA, but we moved in literally a few days before the worst of the coronavirus scare, so most of our first most have been under quarantine - which means we haven't really been able to meet anyone or explore much!"
Determined bride-to-be Hannah made 76 invites and slid each under the doors of her neighbours in the building. Hannah left a date and time then awaited the countdown.
"There were a lot more attendees than I expected, certainly more than RSVPd! Everyone knew his named form the invited, so there was no pause during the song, and it was loud! One couple had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY banner swinging from their window too."
This heartwarming moment was captured on March 23.
