A 26-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday (April 15) for allegedly killing his father in their home in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn.

According to local reports, Khaled Ahmad approached police officers inside a bagel shop around 4 a.m. and told them he had killed his father.

Police officers performed a wellness check at their home and discovered Imad Ahmad unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds.

Footage filmed on April 15 shows the house cordoned off and police vehicles at the scene.

April 15 2020 - BROOKLYN, New York:
26-year-old Khaled Ahmad was arrested today and charged with the murder of his own father at their Dyker Heights home. Ahmad was also charged with criminal possession of a weapon after police say he allegedly stabbed 57-year-old Imad Ahmad to death.
At around 4:22am officers performing a wellness check at 1362 84 Street discovered Imad Ahmad unconscious and unresponsive with multiple stab wounds. EMS responded and pronounced him deceased at the scene.
