Houston woman documents heartwarming trip to give supplies and a little prank to friends

This is the heartwarming journey of Ashley Kopf, a Houston, Texas woman who broke her coronavirus-imposed self-quarantine to visit 7 friends — at a safe distance at all times — in order to drop off supplies to get them through their own isolation.

Ashley loaded up different types of homemade cookies, a couple of staples from fast-food favorites like McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A and went to 7 of her best friends homes in order to make their quarantine a bit brighter.

The sweet treats included a fun trick too, when Ashley also snuck in a bottle of Smirnoff Ice as part of a college-born "icing" prank where the recipient must chug the bottle upon spotting the sweetened malt beverage.

"Everyone was genuinely shocked/surprised by my visit and the goodies! While it was hard to keep a safe distance and not give everyone a big hug, it was so lovely and refreshing to be able to see each other in person. We all can’t wait to be able to reunite once this is all over," said Ashley to Newsflare in an exclusive interview.

The rewarding road trip was recorded on April 14.
