This is the touching moment police in India gave a little girl a surprise birthday cake as she turned one during the national coronavirus lockdown.

Masked police officers in the town of Mansa in the state of Punjab showed up at Mayra Garg's door on motorscooters on April 17th to deliver the cake and sang Happy Birthday as she came outside with her family to collect it.

"It was her first birthday but due to lockdown and we didn’t have anything to celebrate, so I contacted one police officer who arranged all this surprise," said her father Rakesh.

India is under a complete lockdown . But for one year old Mayra Garg her 1st birthday was a big surprise for her and her family . Both she and her parents were overjoyed when Mansa police officals delivered a cake to them at their home . They also sung a birthday song on walkie for her . Her birthday was on 17th April . five cops wearing masks and gloves can be seen parking their vehicles outside the house and then breaking into a 'Happy Birthday' song as soon as the baby comes out with her family. According to father Rakesh it was her first birthday but due to olockdown we didn’t have anything to celebrate so I contacted one police officer who informed city SSP Dr Narendra Bharghav who arranged all this surprise .
