West Sumatra Regional Police Head of Water Police (Ditpolair), distributing groceries and masks to fishermen in the waters of the Pisang River and Pinang River, Padang City, Monday (20/4) afternoon. The distribution of basic food aid and masks is a form of West Sumatra Police and Padang Customs Ditpolair concern for fishermen who are affected by the spread of Corona Disease Virus (Covid-19).On site monitoring, the joint team moved from the Marine Police Command Headquarters in Bungus using a patrol boat. For two hours patrolling the territorial waters while distributing groceries in the middle of the sea, in addition to the nine-basic necessities and masks were also given to fishing communities who did not go to sea. West Sumatra Regional Police Ditpolairud hopes that the food and mask assistance provided to the fishing communities in Pisang River and Pinang River can help the fishermen in dealing with the Covid-19 Pandemic.
