A family from near Dallas, Texas created a multi-storey Hot Wheels race track in their home during the coronavirus lockdown on April 21.

Footage shows the toy car racing down a track from the first floor and making an immediate turn before zooming through the length of the house eventually getting to a ramp where it finishes in a toy basketball hoop.

The filmer said: "I've taken to building elaborate Hot Wheels tracks to pass the time and keep the kids occupied."

"It took about 6 hours of building and rebuilding in order to get it to where the cars would run the whole track consistently," they filmer said.

We built a very long hotwheels track that starts in our upstairs loft, goes over a balcony, then down from the balcony to the first floor, across the entire downstairs and launches out the window into a basketball hoop.
