A number of blind people who are members of the Indonesian Blind Blind Society perform tadarus or read the braille Koran in Medan City, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia, Monday 27 April 2020.

This activity is carried out every year by Muslims as one of the worship that must be carried out during the holy month of Ramadan.

This activity is usually attended by up to sixty people, but because of the Covid-19 pandemic and according to the government's recommendation not to gather, so that only ten people who read the Koran.

A number of blind people are admitted, reading the Koran during the holy month of Ramadan is one of the worship that needs to be done.

In addition, reading the Koran during the holy month of Ramadan can also increase acts of worship.

According to them, not only normal people can read the Koran. Even blind people can read the Koran but use a special Koran or Braille Koran.

"Since the occurrence of Covid-19, blind people have also learned to read the Koran unlike last year, because we obey the government ban so that today there are 10 people plus children reading the Koran together.

The previous year we were busy with up to 60 people, but there was an appeal from the government not to be congested this is what happened today. In addition, our economy is increasingly squeezed because we are not allowed to massage, so we are unable to come here because there are no fees, "

A number of blind people are also hoping for attention from the government so that their living costs can be assisted by the government, bearing in mind the ability of the disabled children due to disability.
