Adopted pitbull Mack takes care of his foster kittens

Mack and his brother were tied to a tree in Tallahassee without food or water. Mack had bare elbows and little scars on his face. After they were removed from that nightmare, they were brought to the shelter. His brother was adopted shortly after.
Mack, however, had a more difficult transition. Whenever someone would come to his kennel, he would get aggressive. He was placed on the kill list due to his behavior. However, the same man who rescued him noticed that while he was being aggressive, he was also soiling himself. He was absolutely terrified! Chris asked the shelter to give him time to work with Mack. After 4 months in the shelter, Mack went to his foster home, and he was only there for a week when I adopted him.
Now, during the quarantine, I’m fostering 3 kittens, and he genuinely thinks that he’s their dad. He licks the formula off their faces, herds them when they scatter, and cuddles up for naps after feeding time.
