NYPD officer refuses to identify himself during George Floyd protests
A New York City Police officer was filmed refusing to identify himself during a George Floyd protest on June 3.
The footage shows Vincent Evelyn shows the officer manning a gate in downtown Brooklyn as he explains that he's been given "interim orders" from "directly above."
Evelyn claims this is a breach of the Right to Know act and the video has garnered over 200,000 views on his Twitter account @BreezeCrypto.
He said: "NYPD officer tells me he has orders from above to remove his name tag, badge number, precinct pins and body camera downtown Brooklyn new york near protests.
"Refuses to identify his self."
