A video showed a herd of wild elephants grazing on an open field in Sri Lanka, one of whom has a visible skin disease.

The visual came out of Kalawewa National Park on June 3.

According to reports, initially, one of the female elephants in the herd was spotted with a skin disease.

The following day, the officials spotted another elephant from the same herd with the same disease, triggering a panic among the park officials of an outbreak.

The video shows the herd grazing, one of whom appears to be infected by small lumps on its legs, trunk and several parts of the body.

According to the park officials, they fear the disease is contagious and may spread to other animals in the herd.
