Driver dangerously drives through protest crowd

Buy video

This was at pack square park in Asheville, North Carolina. Recorded by twitter @AGileadv. Protesters were out stating their frustration with the racist Asheville police department. We were calling for defunding of the militant department and placing the 30 million of allotted police department funds back into repairing the community.

This person came out of a parking lot and wanted to turn right - directly into the protestors. There was plenty of space to turn left, but he wouldn't turn left, despite being guided by protest volunteers. He kept creeping into the crowd, so protesters pushed back, telling him to TURN LEFT, TURN LEFT. Finally, when people were throwing water bottles at his truck, he dangerously sped through the crowd.

It should be noted that many cars - as many as 5, safely left that parking lot before and after this incident. They simply followed the volunteers' request to leave to the left.
