Mysterious green 'fireball' shooting through Australian night sky
Mysterious footage captured a green glow travelling across the night sky in the west Australian outback in the early hours of Sunday (June 14).
A night worker on a remote industrial site in Port Headland, Pilbara captured the ominous "fireball" just before 1 am.
Mitch Brune told Newsflare: "A huge glow in the sky out of nowhere stunned all of the crew… luckily I had my phone on hand as was quick enough to get a great angle of it shooting across the sky lifting up the cloud until it finally burnt out."
According to local media, scientists are not exactly sure what the object is. Speculation among astronomers has ranged from the remains of a rocket launched recently to astroid or meteoroid.
