Rains in Vladivostok, Russia have not stopped for a week and are accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds. Due to bad weather, residents of two cities — Artem and Fokino — were left without power. The river level in the Ussuri basin has risen by almost two meters and threatens coastal settlements. Heavy rains can destroy the crops.

In Vladivostok, during the next downpour, the streets were flooded,and some roads were derailed. Powerful whirlpools formed on the roadway and fountains clogged.
