A cleanup operation is underway after a tornado touched down in southwest Manitoba during a storm on Sunday (June 28), causing flooding and destruction.

Video filmed on Sunday shows flooding in the city of Brandon, which was hit by a severe storm, shows parked cars on a flooded road.

"Over six inches of rain fell in an hour and a half and overwhelmed the cities drainage sewers. This river in the street was coming from downtown Brandon and washed out parts of the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks a block south of us," the filmer said,
