2013 Balmoral Show Opening Day Highlights
The Balmoral Show is Ireland's largest food and agricultural show. This year for the first time in 100 years the location of the show moved from the Kings Hall in South Belfast to their new venue at Balmoral Park on the site of the former Maze prison in Lisburn. Prince Edward, who is patron of the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, (RUAS) who organise and run the annual Balmoral Show arrived at the grounds early on Wednesday morning to see the new location for the show.
