Police personnel save 39-year-old man who slipped between moving train and platform in central India

A head constable of Government Railway Police (GRP) came to the rescue of a 39-year-old man, who slid and fell while trying to board a train in central India's Madhya Pradesh.

The incident took place at Platform 2 of the main railway station in Bhopal on July 19.

According to reports, the Delhi-bound Bhopal Express train was leaving the platform when a man slipped while boarding the coach.

Captured on CCTV camera, the visuals show the police official, identified as Bal Gopal Shukla, scrambling to help the person who is seen been dragged in between a moving train and the platform.

Shukla dragged the man out of the situation just in time to avert a massive accident.

Though the man escaped unhurt, Shukla was injured in his knee while rescuing the former.
