The Gazebo School concept is present in Panakkukang District, Makassar, South Sulawesi. This school is equipped with free wifi, Android phones, laptops, and teaching staff that makes it easy for students to learn online in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The school was initiated by a police member who is a Bhabinkamtibmas in Panakkukang District named Bripka Muhammad Kazim. He deliberately built this place because he saw many underprivileged children to buy mobile phones as a means of learning online.

This video was recorded Thursday, July 30, 2020. Shows how to learn children with online methods.

Teachers are presented to guide children in learning. Also provided a special application to support these children learning online.

"First of all, introduce my name, Bripka Muhammad Kazim, who works in Panakkukang Sector Police as Bahabinkamtibmas. As we have seen, there are activities of school children in the Gazebo and at this time it is still a pandemic. Where the government issues a policy that the teaching and learning process is based online.

We, together with the local government, used vacant land to make Gazebo. We also see that around this many children are living poor. Where there are residents who have three children who go to school, but only have 1 android phone. So that our idea emerged to make Gazebo by facilitating free wifi and Android phones, "said Bripka Muhammad Kazim.
