Hong Kong wet markets still open in Covid-19

Hong Kong is experiencing a 3rd wave of Covid-19 which is infecting at a rate of near 100 people a day.
The Chun Yeung Street Markets are busy despite Covid -19 outbreaks and infections at various other markets across the city.
People wear masks as they do their shopping at the famous busy markets while University of Hong Kong (HKU) microbiologist Ho Pak-leung has suggested that wet markets should switch to electronic payments.
There are 73 wet markets managed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. 11 of the markets have seen COVID-19 infections and closures for deep cleaning.
