New York Police Department Commissioner Dermot Shea has labelled gun crime a big problem after 51 people were shot from Friday (August 14) to Sunday (August 16) in the city.

Footage, filmed on August 18, shows a trail of blood from the crime scene where 16 bullets were fired on August 18 in an alley on Baltic Street.

16 bullets where fired one critically, the shooting broke out after an alleged gang control at the Gowanus Houses on hoyt & baltic st Brooklyn NY, was report from people that saw the shooting take place on north west corner and alley of the housing they said were as much as 8 people involved 2 with guns, tension went up shooting happened one of the residents said , this is our everyday life if you are in it your child your mother your sister are in it the gov and big bird Billy do not help they destroyed new york they added, shooting is happening everywhere and every night whe are on the edge to get accidentally shot just by walking on the sidewalk or seated at a playground this is not safe they continued, above all we need safety safety safety, our kids are getting Murdered our loved ones are getting murdered. There was a foot chase shooting sidewalk from hoyt and contact up baltic st was painted in blot stains and blood splash a trail of 2000ft of blood as much as 16 bullets 2 sets were fired, blood was all over the alleys, the baltic st sidewalk, the playground, railings and at the front of one of the buildings, the crime area looked like a housing war zone. One person was Critically wounded from the gun shots and one other was reported to have been fatally shot but not confirmed , police have blocked the area and investigation is ongoing.
