An Uber driver was shot in Coney Island, Brooklyn on Friday night (August 21).

Footage shows police officers at the scene and the area cordoned off.

The filmer told Newflare: "The shooting took place within feet of a police station at 2860 W 23rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11224. Bystanders commented that the victim was heavily breathing and his eyes rolled up by that time the ambulance showed up."

Police said the shooting happened while the driver was sitting in his car.
