"I was appalled at the police brutality in American compared to how well respected Irish police are, so I wanted to show the difference through my comedy". O Riordan thinks that comedy can point out the problems in society in ways others can't, and that his video makes light of the situation but also points out the vast differences in the way police handle conflict.
