£150 million pound superyacht Le Grand Bleu unusually spent 7 days anchored in the Thames Estuary, around 3 miles offshore of Sheerness in Kent.

The yacht arrived early on Sunday 23 August and departed this morning Saturday 29 August for Southampton. The footage in the video was taken over numerous days.

The vessel which features two helipads is owned by billionaire Russian-American Eugene Shvidler, who won the yacht in a bet from his business partner Chelsea FC owner Roman Abramovich in June 2006.

It remains unclear as to why the yacht anchored in the Thames Estuary for so long, with most super yachts passing through quickly before berthing in the capital.
