North Texas Severe Thunderstorm Horizontal Lightning
A severe thunderstorm was approaching our area of Midlothian, TX. We went to the front yard to watch the lightning. As I started to record, a dynamic burst of horizontal lightning lit up the sky. It was an amazing sight. I later learned that this same storm spurred an EF-1 tornado in Azle.
