Powerful Typhoon Maysak brought strong winds and heavy rain to the Okinawa region in southern Japan. The Japan Meteorological Agency has warned that Typhoon Maysak could cause major disaster to the region.

The typhoon is excepted to get stronger. From Monday afternoon, some schools and public sectors are closed, and 180 flights to and from the Okinawa region are canceled.
