Overcrowded JMU Classroom During Pandemic
An ISAT lecture at the Festival Ballroom in James Madison University that was so overcrowded that some students ended up having to sit in very close proximity on the floor in the corners of the ballroom. This was a clear violation of social distancing guidelines. The following week, as JMU's COVID-19 cases skyrocketed, the video gained some attention on Twitter. In the same week, JMU made the decision to go fully online, sending students home.
