Python caught hiding in family's garden pots
A resident was shocked after finding a 14ft long python curled up in his garden plant pots.
Thanat Srisoonthorn, 46, was woken up by his bin man who said there was a snake lurking outside his house.
He called the emergency services who sent reptile handlers to the street in Chachoengsao, Thailand, on Saturday morning.
Footage shows how they searched through the ceramic pots to find the deadly snake.
They had to smash several pots before reaching the snake, which slithered under a concrete bench to hide.
The team dragged it into the open before stuffing it into a sack to be released into nearby woodland.
Relieved Thanat said: ''My plan was to go outside later in the day. The snake could have went inside my home while I was away. So I feel better now it has bee caught.''
