A gas leak in Dubuque, Iowa caused an explosion on September 28.

Aerial footage shows the fire protruding from the building.

The filmer said: "The entire downtown area felt the boom. My three-story apartment building shook. I stepped outside on the porch and I saw the entire neighborhood searching outside for the cause. We're roughly 10 blocks away. It felt like a semi crashed into the building, the sound was that loud. I heard kids in the park noticing the smoke, yelling, so I looked out the window and plumes of black smoke. I started recording on my video camera and could see it was getting worse, so I grabbed the drone, went to the top of a parking ramp and launched it to get a better view."
