Since the beginning of protests in Belarus that first started on August 9th after presidential elections thousands of people got detained. Hundreds of political prisoners, some of which were taken away even before the elections, are still in cells because of their political views and active citizenship. Releasing political prisoners was always one of the main demands of protesters, as important as new fair elections and trial of those responsible for violence against civilians. But this Sunday march was dedicated mainly to releasing political prisoners because almost 20 people were detained during the week. Protesters were playing drums, chanting "Long Lives Belarus!", carrying opposition flags, posters and pictures of political prisoners and as always expressing their position in a very creative way.
