YouTuber builds bizarre walking robot creature from cardboard
This YouTuber from Tajikistan has created a bizarre "Strandbeest" walking robot creature from household materials.
Footage from October 6 shows the construction of the machine, showing the cardboard being cut to shape and the pinser-style legs being formed, then a lever goes through the middle.
When the complete robot is moved from the top, all the legs move simultaneously in a weird fashion.
The "Strandbeest" was initially created by Dutch artist Theo Jansen in 1990 and and features kinetic sculptures that can walk autonomously.
