Two-headed python swallows a mouse in Kansas
Incredible footage shows a rare two-headed python eating a mouse for dinner.
Josh Lundberg, a pet breeder from Fort Scott, Kansas, feeds each head alternately within the week since they share the same body.
He said: ''They are getting faster on snack day. I'm still taking turns feeding each side, a few days apart, but they are doing well.''
Unlike other animals with similar condition, this two-month-old ball python is healthy and its body organs are functioning well.
Josh hopes it will continue growing and has asked his followers to name the reptile.
The owner, who runs the pet shop Ball Python Shed, said they are not putting the rare snake up for sale.
The snake is believed to have Polycephaly, a genetic mutation which results to the offspring having more than one head. The most commonly observed two-headed animals are within turtle and snake species.
