This video captured a scene on Friday night in Pathum Wan intersection in Bangkok where people on a bridge dropped their umbrellas to protesters below.
It happened before Thai police blasted protesters there with water cannons to break up the demonstrations, according to the video owner.
The umbrellas were in anticipation of the water blasting after water cannon-equipped vehicles accompanied the police, the video owner added.
