Children were spotted sleeping on a bed made from banana trees in a flooded house in Quang Tri, Vietnam.

The video, filmed on October 17, shows several children laying on a bed which was made out of banana trees in a flooded house.

The children's mum said their house was submerged by deep floodwater and they got trapped there. So she built up a bed with banana trees for her children to sleep on above floodwater.

Rescuers saved the family and brought them to safety the next day morning.

According to reports, days of heavy rain caused the floods.

According to the children's mother, the floodwaters were so high that her family could not move out. To ensure safety, they used banana stalks to make a bed floating on the water. Then the children would sleep on it.
It was the morning that the rescue team approached and brought the family to safety.
Long-lasting heavy rains have caused the central region of Vietnam to experience an unprecedented flood in history. Many areas have been completely isolated.
