An Ohio man was caught on camera singing a sweet lullaby to one of the newly born donkeys at his sanctuary.

In the video, Dean can be seen cradling a donkey in his arms, singing "What the World Needs Now is Love" while Oliver the content donkey rests.

Another clip shows the moments after baby Oliver was born.

His wife Dawn (@dawnlynn57 on TikTok and @mrdonkers on Instagram) told Newsflare: "This is Oliver at three days old being sung to. Each new baby donkey gets rocked and sung to so that they will make loving pets. They are very affectionate animals.

"We are spreading love during these difficult times. Hoping this will bring a smile to people's faces. Let’s love one another."

The adorable compilation was recorded in May at the couples donkey sanctuary in Ohio.
