This is the amusing moment a cat owner persuaded a member of the public that her pet was half kangaroo.

Shaina Culpepper was walking around central San Francisco holding her cat on Friday (October 23rd) night and got chatting to a member of the public outside a bar.

"This is a cat-garoo," Culpepper tells the woman.

"Part kangaroo, part cat," Culpepper adds.

The gullible woman says she never heard of cat-garoos and begins to stroke the feline before adding:

"You know what I've heard about cat-garoos? They jump around and you never know where they're going to pounce."

Eventually, Culpepper breaks the news that it's not a cat-garoo and is just a normal cat.

"The gullibility is hilarious !! Lol!" wrote Culpepper online.
