Tropical storm Saudel landed in Quang Tri in Vietnam bringing heavy rain and flash floods.

According to reports, the typhoon Saudel entered the East Sea after causing damage in the Philippines. But it has since been downgraded to a severe tropical storm.

The area is forecast to continue seeing another storm called Storm Molave in the next three days.

It is the first time that more than five storms and tropical depressions continuously appear in 20 days in the central region of Vietnam, which is believed to be linked to climate change increasing the frequency of tropical storms.

According to locals, Tropical Storm Saudel made landfall in their area with very heavy rains. Soon flash floods reappeared in their area. The floodwaters continued to push large trees towards the village. People quickly moved to high altitudes to avoid floods.
Tropical storm Saudel, after causing damage in the Philippines, entered the East Sea with winds of 100 km / h. However, when approaching the shore, the storm weakened into a tropical depression causing heavy rains in the central region.
People in the area had been notified of the relocation prior to the arrival of the floods. Their homes have been devastated by previous floods, they said. They have only been moving home for 2 days before they continue to welcome a new flood.
