Black Swan Cygnet hatching on camera for the first time
Today I captured some super cute birds hatching in Dawlish. One of these Dawlish Black Swan Cygnets is starting its new life right before your eyes.
The Black Swans have nested on an island in the middle of Dawlish Brook and this helps keep the predators away.
I spent 5 hours waiting on the footpath that's about 20 feet away from the nest in the hope that I would catch a cygnet hatching for the first time. I wasn't disappointed!
