A winter weather pattern dumped snow on the US northeastern states on the day before Halloween, October 30.

Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York saw snow fall and pile up on the ground today. It's Connecticut's first snow of the season, too. Chilly temperatures are expected to last through to late Saturday.
