A 59-year-old woman named Ratna M Nur, a resident of Santi Village, Mpunda District, Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia, died after being confirmed positive for Covid-19, Sunday, November 1, 2020. The medical staff has not succeeded in tracing this woman's contact history with covid-19 sick people.


Before being declared dead on Sunday afternoon, the patient was treated in isolation room for Covid-19 patients at the Bima Regional General Hospital. Initially, the patient was admitted to the hospital with complaints of severe pneumonia, sepsis mods melena ec erosive gastric. The results of the rapid test and PCR test on the patient showed positive results.


After she died, the patient was taken to a public cemetery in Santi Village, Bima City, Indonesia. The patient was buried by a medical officer equipped with personal protective equipment from the Covid-19 virus. This woman's funeral was witnessed by hundreds of residents, the Mayor of Bima and his wife, members of the Indonesian army and police. She was buried in Islam according to the Covid-19 prevention protocol.


The Mayor of Bima, who attended the funeral procession, appealed to the people of Bima City to obey the Covid-19 prevention protocol, always keep their distance and avoid crowds.


Two days ago, the Secretary of the Bima District Health Office was also buried according to the Covid-19 protocol after undergoing isolation at the Bima Regional General Hospital, while one week earlier, the Health Service employee also died after the swab results were found to be positive for Covid-19. In Bima City, NTB Province, six people have died due to covid. While overall in NTB Province, the number of Covid-19 cases until November 1, 2020 that had been confirmed positive for Covid-19 was 3,992 people, 493 people were still undergoing isolation, 3277 were declared cured and 222 died.


Nationally, the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to date is 413 thousand cases, 342 were declared cured and 13,943 died due to positive covid-19.
