Stores in Pakistan are continuing to boycott French products over President Emmanuel Macron's defence of the right to display cartoons of the Muslim prophet Mohammed.

Such cartoons are considered offensive by Muslims and Mr Macron’s forthright comments have sparked protests and boycotts around the Muslim world.

Ms Macron made the comments after a teacher in France was beheaded after showing the offensive cartoons in class.

A video posted on social media showed the inside of the Chase Up shopping mall in Faisalabad, eastern Pakistan with signs saying "BOYCOTT FRENCH PRODUCTS" on shelves.
