A heartwarming video has emerged from Canada of a football fan receiving tickets to an Arsenal match in London as a birthday gift from his wife.

The footage, shot by Chantelle Moore at their home in Toronto earlier this month, shows her husband Erik opening the surprise package in front of friends and thirty members of his Arsenal fan club.

As Erik opens the package he first pulls out an Arsenal shirt and an envelope with a picture of him and his best friend John as Arsenal players.

Erik is then rendered speechless when he opens the envelope and finds two plane tickets to London and entrance passes for Arsenal’s match against Manchester City on Sunday 18th January.

"He and his best friend John are the BIGGEST Canadian Arsenal fans and both of them have never gone to a game live" Chantelle later wrote online.

"The the only thing on Erik's bucket list is to go to a game at Emirates Stadium with his buddy John.

"As we are expecting our first child in August, I wanted to give him the best birthday surprise I could think of. I have been working on this surprise since October."
