In the middle of the Panamerica Highway, at km 25, at the height of the town of Martínez, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a young man broke into the traffic aboard a jet ski, generating the surprise of the rest of the drivers who were traveling in the same address.

The footage - of a few seconds - allows us to observe that the jet ski is patented and that the driver was wearing a helmet. The nautical vehicle was assembled with two wheels underneath and the interconnected system of a motorcycle.

After receiving the images and checking the security cameras, the authorities ordered an operation until they found the driver.

It had a license plate. However, this type of vehicle is not authorized to circulate on public roads.

The Traffic Law 24,449 establishes, in its article 34, that “the safety characteristics of the vehicles delivered to the traffic cannot be modified, except for the regulated exceptions. The requirement to incorporate safety elements or requirements contemplated in the previous chapter into the vehicles in use and that have not originally brought them, will be exceptional and provided that it does not imply a major modification of another component or part of the vehicle, previously giving wide dissemination to the new demand".

Also that "all motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers intended to circulate on public roads are subject to periodic technical review in order to determine the state of operation of the parts and systems that make their active and passive safety and the emission of pollutants".
