This big jaguar had to be rescued when it was a cub, and although it is well-cared for, it unfortunately has to live in captivity. When feeding large predators, one needs to make sure their hands are not somewhere the animal could accidentally grab, as they at that moment they are thinking only about eating, so even a tame animal could be dangerous at that moment. Here you can see a demonstration of it, as the jaguar gets fed chicken necks through a feeder.
