Bunch of baby raccoons reunited with mother in adorable rescue

This was the moment a family of baby raccoons were rescued from the roof of a Toronto home on June 16 and reunited with their mother.

Footage shows the humane rescue as the babies are removed from behind a Marley tile roof as the rescuer reaches into a hole and puts them in a sack.

The bunch of baby raccoons were eventually reunited with their mother, with no harm done.

A member of the rescue team explained: "We put the box attached to the fence. As you saw in the video she is using this downspout to come down to the ground. So when she was back to the roof, she'll be on this downspout, she'll come right on top of the box and she'll be able to open and get her babies. We have done this one other time this year and it worked well."
