Watch this tornado-like funnel cloud take over the skies near Dallas
This was the moment a huge funnel cloud took over the skies above Denton, Texas on November 24.
Eyewitness footage shows the tornado-like phenomenon being silhouetted by a raging lightning storm in the distance.
Storm chasers were not able to confirm if the funnel cloud touched down on the ground, thus classifying it as a tornado at the time.
Local media reported that there were multiple tornado warnings across Dallas, Tarrant and Denton Counties.
Filmer Stormi Munoz told Newsflare: "[It's] another day in Texas.
"Me and my roommates were calm, but I noticed the neighbors were terrified and running out of the house, as you can see in the video on the top right.
"I've experienced tornados before, but nothing as close and scary as this.
"I was actually pretty calm during the whole ordeal, the view was pretty impressive."
