A fast-moving brush fire occurred in Silverado Canyon, named "Bond Fire", that was from a house fire spread into a nearby brush on late Wednesday, December 2 night, burned more than 7,200 acres, and forced mandatory evacuations.

The Orange County Fire Authority tweeted, "There may be multiple structures damaged from the fire. We are in the process of verifying the number involved and the extent of damage."
